Beckingham is a village originating back to Anglo-Saxon times with a population of circa 1,000 and located about 3 miles to the west of Gainsborough.

Nearby Beckingham Marshes is establishing a thriving wetland and hay meadow nature reserve. Nearby Gainsborough attractions include the English Heritage-owned Gainsborough Old Hall is described as the “hidden gem of Lincolnshire”; Heritage Centre and also leisure and shopping via Marshall’s Yard.
