Osmaston is a picture-postcard Derbyshire village. Mentioned as Osmundestone in the Domesday Book, the Village was built to support nearby Osmaston Manor and retains a strong community atmosphere. Osmaston Park offers wonderful scenic lakes and woodland walks with the watermill a hidden gem.

About the Event

Osmaston is a picture-postcard Derbyshire village.  Mentioned as Osmundestone in the Domesday Book, the Village was built to support nearby Osmaston Manor and retains a strong community atmosphere. Bonnie Prince Charlie Walk traces the route of Prince Charles Edward Stuart’s march from Ashbourne to Derby in 1745, where the Stuart Army retreated back north.

Osmaston Park offers wonderful scenic lakes and woodland walks with the watermill a hidden gem. Bonnie Prince Charlie Walk cuts through Osmaston Park.  The Shoulder of Mutton in the Village is a traditional pub serving excellent food. Nearby Ashbourne is a notable Derbyshire market town.

Entry at 2nd gate.   Note, this meet will be subject to Government Coronavirus restrictions. The meet will be operated as a camp site and no social gatherings will be permitted.  Start: 15:00 Cost: £7.00 per unit night
