This weekend, 5th to 7th October, sees our annual Feast of Lanterns at Marton and Gate Burton, nr Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. The theme for this year is:
Books, Comics and Magazines
So whether you Marvel at the Beano, would Q for the Dandy, have Time for Good Housekeeping or think Cosmopolitan is still in Vogue, there's certainly plenty of scope to put on a show. From Dorian Gray to Shades of Gray, or-well, anything in-between, there's no Great Expectations, so even a few fairy lights will add to the occasion.
Celebrations continue after the event with a social in the adjacent village hall.
